In the waters off the Baie des Anges, Pierre-Hugues, the Lacassagne family’s eldest son, drowns while sailing with his brother and sister.
Summer of 2016.
Nearing eighty, Charles Lacassagne, a magnate in real estate and property development in Nice, is about to hand over his empire to his children. At the same time he contacts a Parisian journalist, Jerome Bastaro, to write his biography.
